Volkswagen Polo GTI Cup Edition

Most powerful production series Polo offers not only looks, but also terrific performance and thrilling driving

A racing car feel, but licensed for the road: the Polo GTI "Cup Edition" brings the look of the junior race series Polo to the road. In the ADAC Volkswagen Polo Cup talented young drivers take it to the race circuits with 150 PS. The turbo-charged Polo GTI "Cup Edition" is more than a match for that – its 180 PS make it the most powerful production Polo of all time.

Even the 110 kW (150 PS) standard specification Polo GTI is one of the fastest small compacts. Just a few months after its launch the designers and development engineers at Volkswagen Individual have gone one further both technically and optically.

The turbocharged five-valve four-cylinder engine has had its performance boosted to produce 132 kW (180 PS) from 1.8 litres and a maximum torque of 235 newton metres, already available at 2000 rpm. That puts the Polo GTI at the top of its segment – and makes it a dynamic thrill to drive. Not surprising with a power-weight ratio of just 6.6 kilograms per PS!

This engine propels the fastest Polo of all time to a maximum speed of 225 km/h and the "Cup Edition" accelerates from a zero to 100 km/h in only 7.5 seconds.

The standard Polo GTI is already distinguishable by its looks as an emphatically muscular version, but the striking design of the "Cup Edition" goes one better: roof spoiler designed by Volkswagen Individual, front and rear skirts taken virtually straight from the ADAC Polo Cup racing car and conspicuous side sills. The "Cup Edition" lettering on the tailgate provides the conclusive evidence of it racing pedigree.

Behind the large 7.5 J x 17-inch alloys which have the "Aristo" four-spoke design, there are uprated brakes with red calipers. Together with the wide 205/40 ZR 17 tyres they provide sports car braking performance. The typical GTI interior with luxury "Interlagos" sports seats remains the same as does the extensive safety package with ESP as standard.

The Polo GTI Cup Edition is available to order now as a two or four door version in the finishes Metallic Reflex Silver, Flash Red and Black Magic Pearl Effect starting from 22.425 euros.

Εχω την αισθηση οτι πολλά golf gti δεν θα τολμησουν να ξαναβγάλουν κιχ....

το κουπρα το ιμπιζα δεν ειναι στα ισα με το γκολφ?γιατι να μην ειναι το πολο δηλαδη?

και να ειναι πιο γρηγορο ρε παιδες τι να λεει?

δεν θα ειναι ποτε καλυτερο ομως απο το golf σε κανεναν αλλο τομεα εκτος απο το γκαζι, ας μη γελιομαστε...

το Golf gti ειναι η "αφροκρεμα" της vw και το πολο ειναι ο μικρος της πυραυλος...

ενα αυτ/το δεν ειναι μονο τα γκαζια αλλα και κρατημα στο δρομο και αλλα πολλα τα οποια και γνωριζετε

το Golf gti ειναι η "αφροκρεμα" της vw και το πολο ειναι ο μικρος της πυραυλος...

ενα αυτ/το δεν ειναι μονο τα γκαζια αλλα και κρατημα στο δρομο και αλλα πολλα τα οποια και γνωριζετε

ΟΛΑ βελτιώνονται.....αυτό περιλαμβάνει και το Golf.....

Χεχεχεχεχεχε,πηγα κι εγω μολις τωρα να πεταξω τα news για το polaki gti cup,αλλα βλεπω ειμαι λιγο αργος.......... tongue.giftongue.giftongue.gif

Anyway,δειτε παντως εδω και μερικες ακομα φωτοσσσσσσστσουφφφφφφ!!!!!!!!

πο το αμαξακι δεν παιζετε!αρκετα ποιο ωραιο απο golf GT

δεν νομιζω οτι τα δυο αυτοκινητα συγκρινονται.....μιλαμε πλεον για δυο διαφορετικες κατηγοριες οπου απευθυνονται σε διαφορετικο αγοραστικο κοινο και με τελειως διαφορετικους προσανατολισμους απο τον τροπο λειτουργειας του μοτερ μεχρι πλαισιο αναρτησεις και διαφορες αλλες λεπτομερειες που κανουν το golf με το polo τελειως διαφορετικα αυτοκινητα!!!!

Απο ποιά άποψη, γιατί εγώ δέν την βρήσκω...

ο super sayian εννοει οτι ειναι στα ισα μονο απο πλευρας επιδοσεων με μια ελαφρια υπεροχη υπερ του gti....το cupra στεκεται διπλα στο gti μονο και μονο λογω βαρους......1100 κιλα ειναι αυτα....αρκετα λιγοτερα δηλαδη απο το golf....τωρα οσων αφορα πλαισιο αναρτησεις κλπ ειναι σαφως καλυτερο το golf!!!!

ΟΛΑ βελτιώνονται.....αυτό περιλαμβάνει και το Golf.....

και yugo βελτιωνεται αλλα παραμενει yugo....το θεμα ειναι κατα ποσο θα μεινει αξιοπιστο και καλως η κακως ο 1.8Τ εχει αποδειξει παρα πολυ την αξιοπιστια του στη μακροχρονια πορεια του στην παγκοσμια αγορα!!!ο 2.0TFSI εχει πολυ μελλον ακομα για να αποδειξει την αξια του αν και βαδιζει σε πολυ καλο μονοπατι...αυτο που χαραξε ο 1.8Τ!!!!τωρα το golf ειναι golf και το polo παραμενει ο μικρος του αδερφος αυτο τα λεει ολα πιστευω!!!!

Είναι σίγουρο αυτό; Κρίμα αν όντως ισχύει αυτό..Η καλύτερη λύση στα 23.000...Πύραυλος..Και σε ποιότητα σε σχέση με το Cupra ασύγκριτο...

κριμα που δεν ερχεται στην ελλαδα και ειναι πραγματικα πολυ ωραιο αμαξι.....παντως 24.000 πιστευω οτι ειναι πολλα για ενα αμαξι της μικρης κατηγοριας οπως polo, ibiza cupra....fr κτλ.εγω δεν θα τα εδινα προσωπικα για κανενα λογω!

παιδια τελικα ειναι σιγουρο οτι το cup δε θα ερθει ελλαδα? εχω τρελαθει με το συγκεκριμενο polo. σκεφτομαι να αλλαξω αυτοκινητο και ειμαι μεταξυ του polo cup adition και του golf tsi αν και ειμαι λιγο φοβισμενη με το tsi γιατι εχω διαβασει στο vwclub οτι βγαζουν προβληματα!!!!! :):(;)
