Πρόβλημα με σχάστρα Opel

Γεια σας έχω ένα Opel Astra 2L Turbo και είχα βάλει μια σκάστρα πριν 3 χρόνια αλλά τώρα τελευταία δεν ακούγεται σχεδόν καθόλου(πολύ λίγο, ίσα-ίσα) όσο και να πηγαίνω τις στροφές στο τέρμα... Τι πρόβλημα μπορεί να υπάρχει? Τις καθαρίζουν τις σκάστρες καθόλοθ?(Ρωτάω επειδή δεν πολυ ασχολούμαι με αυτά γι'αυτό! Ευχαριστώ πολύ.
